I am totally, unjustifiably disproportionately delighted by how my copic-marker plaid turned out.
Here’s a slightly saucy Christmas-themed commission someone got a couple weeks back, featuring Nic and Conscience Cat. (And poor, poor traumatized Dev.) Nearly forgot to post this while it was still seasonaly relevant! A little gratuitous maybe, but I think it’s in character and kinda funny SO THERE.
I actually wanted to do a lot more stuff with Sam and Nic’s burst of tour-hiatus romancing and all the resulting discomfort it caused for their coworkers. There’s still a bit of that in Under the Influence, but it was mostly displaced by stories about talking cats and rampaging fish. Alas!
For me, winter vacation is all about outdoor hot tubs and ski-hill disasters, usually in combination. Hence, this drawing… one of the two new desktops going out to Book Club folks later this month.
As always, book club bonuses are free to anyone and everyone who has picked up (or has already picked up) a copy of my most recent book (Sam and Fuzzy Under the Influence) by the time I send the bonuses out on Dec. 20th. Bam!
And yes, I did do some commissions of these people, too!
Here are all the pin-ups I drew on Friday, with a few post-Friday colouring tweaks. It’s still seven months short of a full calendar, I guess! Maybe I will draw a few more later. I’m kind of curious what obscure supporting cast members they’d have to scrape up to actually fill the last few months.
